The Associate Director of Enrollment Management is responsible for the programs of recruitment and admission into the Academy. The Associate Director is accountable to the Director of Institutional Advancement. In this role the Associate Director maintains a close relationship with the Principal.
Role and Responsibilities
Recruitment Ensures that all of the activities, programs, and materials used by the office reflect the Ursuline mission and Core Values In collaboration with the Advancement Team, creates all print and non-print material associated with recruitment Ensures collaboration with the Principal in the organization needed for visits by adults and prospective students and others to the Ursuline campus Plans special events for prospective students and their parents as time and budget permit Responds to the directions forwarded by the President and Principal regarding the size and profile desired for various admission groups Organizes the annual Open House seeking support and assistance from the office staff, administrators, faculty, current students and others as appropriate Responds to all phone calls and letters concerning pre-admission activities
Admissions Establishes an admissions calendar for the year in collaboration with the Principal and other appropriate offices Facilitates all testing and interview schedules for applicants Chairs the Admissions Committee Ensures a response to all phone calls and letters concerning the admissions process With the assistance of the Guidance Administrative Assistant and the Technology Specialist, maintains applicant databases Prepares information on each candidate for use by the Admissions Committee Prepares and sends letters to all applicants (admission, waiting list, etc.) Prepares all reports concerning admissions status for President and Principal Prepares materials scholarship applicant information for the Scholarship Committee
Communication Ensures the mailing of pertinent information to prospective students and parents Prepares reports for the President's Administrative group and by extension the Board of Trustees Establishes relationships with area-wide principal and school directors
Other Oversees the budget for the Admissions Office Participates in the annual appraisal of the admissions process Performs other reasonable duties as directed by the President
Bachelor's Degree 2+ years of experience in education or Enrollment / Admissionsdepartment
