Join a collaborative, mission-driven team at Rapides Womenâ™s & Childrenâ™s Hospital with Pediatrix Medical Group.
Are you a board-certified Pediatric Intensivist looking for a fulfilling role with a flexible schedule and a supportive team? This is your chance to make a meaningful impact in a well-established Level II PICU while supplementing your income with some per diem shifts.

Your Clinical Scope
Inpatient Pediatric Floor
Pediatric Intensive Care Unit
Pediatric Sedation Services
No ECMO or post-op hearts
Procedures include: intubations, lumbar punctures, line placement, chest tubes, CPR
A team of acute-care trained PNPs ready to deliver high-level care at a momentâ™s notice

Qualifications
Board Certified in Pediatrics and Pediatric Critical Care
Active LA medical license or IMCL license preferred
A minimum of 1-year post-fellowship clinical experience required
Recent Pediatric Intensivist experience required (within the past 12 months)
Benefits and Compensation
Pediatrix does cover your travel expenses (round trip flight/rental car or mileage and lodging) for those who reside outside a commutable distance from the practice.
We also cover your malpractice insurance for this W-2 per diem position.
