Acute Care 5th Floor Center Nurses collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to care for patients with childhood illnesses such as asthma, cellulitis, bronchiolitis, diabetes, urinary tract infections, viral infections such as Flu and RSV. The Staff RN is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for neonates, infants, toddlers, school-age children, adolescents and young adults for a designated time frame and provides care to those patients via therapeutic use of self, the nursing process, the therapeutic environment, treatment and modalities and interdisciplinary collaboration.
