POSITION SUMMARY

Access Radiology, a Radiology Partners practice, is looking for a full-time Interventional Radiologist to perform invasive radiology procedures, including the following: magnetic resonance imaging, ultrasound, mammography, computed tomography (CT), interventional radiology, interventional oncology, cardiac catheterization, and PET scanning. Use imaging technologies and nuclear medicine to diagnose and evaluate illnesses and injuries inside the body; review MRI studies for referring physicians and/or orthopedic surgeons; interpret additional plain film and ultrasound evaluations; and perform general radiology examinations. Multiple positions available. Position travels to multiple worksites in Alexandria, LA on a weekly basis.

Access Radiology has been an integral part of the Central Louisiana medical community for over 45 years. It is the principle city of the Alexandria metropolitan area (population 153,922) which encompasses all of Rapides and Grant parishes.  It lies on the south bank of the Red River in almost the exact geographic center of the state. Residents can easily drive to New Orleans or Baton Rouge while living in a picturesque, family-oriented community.

DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

• M.D or equivalent
• A minimum of  a 4-year residency in Radiology and 2 years of post-residency training in Interventional Radiology
• Board eligible or certified by American Board of Radiology
• Licensed or ability to obtain license in the State of Louisiana
