Trinity Episcopal School and Church are seeking a Security Officer. This unarmed security position requires someone who is physically able to stand, put up school zone signs and cones daily, patrol campus on feet for 8 hours, conduct crossing-guard duties during school and church events and carpool drop off and pick up times, and be able to deal with any potential threat or risk by securing campus and calling authorities for back up if necessary. Good communication skills and a friendly demeanor are needed to interact with our staff, children, parents, parishioners or visitors. The successful candidate must be comfortable taking the lead for safety drills, emergencies, and carpool using our communication and safety procedures. This per diem position is for full time hours between 11:30 am and 8:30 pm. The Security Officer must be able to work flexible days including Monday through Sunday, sometimes in inclement weather. Weekend shifts are rotated and typically for 4 hours. Prior experience in security or detail work is required. Candidates must be able to pass a criminal background clearance.
