Xavier University of Louisiana is accepting applications for a full-time position ofLA-CEAL Program Manager. The LA-CEAL Program Manager will be responsible formanaging the administration of the Louisiana Community-Engagement Research AllianceAgainst COVID-19 in Disproportionately Affected Communities (LA-CEAL) program acrossXavier's consortium partners including but not limited to, Tulane University and othercommunity organizational partners. He/she will provide program support to LA-CEALinvestigators, coordinate community engagement and fieldwork training, oversee fieldworkoperations and data collection, collect data and monitor data quality, and work closely with investigators to track program progress and report to NIH leadership. The LA-CEAL Program Manager will monitor program expenditures to ensure compliance with the program budget and timely completion of administrative deliverables. He/she will coordinate and provide program support to the committees/working groups within the LA-CEAL consortium. AA/EOE
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree required and 4 years of directly related work in experience, Master's degree preferred, in fields including, Public Health, Health Education, Health Promotion or affiliated preferred with 1-2 years of prior experience with developing wellness initiatives
Prior work experience working in the community and with community partners/stakeholders, as well as passion for working with diverse populations
Knowledge of current trends in chronic disease management
Prior experience creating and or researching health and wellness materials, and marketing wellness events
Strong interpersonal, problem-solving, time management, and public speaking skills
Ability to work weekends and evenings
Ability to effectively utilize Microsoft programming, Canva, and materials design software
