Kentucky Equine Medical Associates is a well-established and respected veterinary practice with multiple racetrack locations across the state and country. 
Current locations serviced are Churchill Downs (Louisville, KY), Ellis Park (Henderson, KY), Keeneland Racecourse (Lexington, KY), Oaklawn Park (Hot Springs, AR), Fair Grounds Racecourse (New Orleans, LA), Turfway Park (Florence, KY), and Kentucky Downs (Franklin, KY). KEMA is looking to add to our team, providing the highest level of care to elite Thoroughbred athletes.
We have opportunities both within current locations and potential for future growth at additional racetracks.
 
KEMA welcomes applicants of all experience levels. Our current vet roster includes new grads and multi-decade veterans, with and without internship training.  
Our most immediate need is Fair Grounds Racecourse in New Orleans, LA for the winter meet. However, applicants for all locations will be considered. We can offer full-time positions involving travel across locations, or seasonal contracts for a single meet. We aim to offer a flexible work position so the applicant can maintain a career tailored to their goals and needs.
