Ochsner Health System is seeking BC/BE physicians with nuclear medicine fellowship training and American Board of Nuclear Medicine certification to join our growing Nuclear Medicine section.

We are also one of the leading radiologic academic centers in the Gulf South, with high clinical volumes across all sub-specialties.
This position includes coverage at Ochsner Medical Center New Orleans - Jefferson Highway (a tertiary / quaternary academic medical center), the Benson Cancer Center, and 3 Ochsner South Shore community hospitals, including Ochsner Kenner Medical Center, the site of our Neuroendocrine Tumor program. In addition to diagnostic nuclear medicine and PET/CT, Ochsner also performs nuclear medicine therapeutic procedures and has a cyclotron at Ochsner Medical Center New Orleans.
Part time or Full time
Duties include day time coverage of outpatient and hospital inpatient diagnostic examinations and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures from Ochsner New Orleans South Shore hospitals, outpatient facilities, and urgent care centers.
Resident supervision and academic responsibilities are required at Ochsner Medical Center New Orleans - Jefferson Highway.
If dual board certified (American Board of Radiology and American Board of Nuclear Medicine), radiologists provide in house coverage for approximately 1 in 8 weekends and one late shift (12 noon – 8 pm) per month
If not dual board certified by the American Board of Radiology and American Board of Nuclear Medicine, there is currently no after hours or weekend coverage requirement (with commensurate salary adjustment)
After hours ED coverage provided by Ochsner employed Emergency Radiologists
IR coverage provided by Ochsner employed Interventional Radiologists
