Ochsner Medical Center - West Bank is a vital part of Ochsner Health, which is Louisiana's largest not-for-profit health system and one of the largest independent academic health systems in the United States. Revenue for the system is over $5 billion. Ochsner Health operates 40 hospitals and more than 300 health and urgent care centers across Louisiana, Mississippi, and the Gulf South; and its cutting-edge Connected Health digital medicine program is caring for patients beyond its walls.
Reporting to the Regional Chief Executive Officer, South Shore Region & Clinical Joint Ventures, the Ochsner Medical Center - West Bank CEO will be an adaptable operator that will introduce and maximize programs in the community. The successful candidate should also have experience building a strong organizational culture and workforce leading to a transparent, collaborative, and trusting work environment based on high reliability principles. It is essential that candidates have a track record of successfully partnering with providers to grow outpatient volume and specialty care.
The ideal candidate will possess extensive operational and executive leadership experience in a community hospital within an integrated health system. The CEO will focus on developing a high-performance team dedicated to service excellence and continuous improvement. Candidates should have a proven track record of advancing clinical services in a matrixed, multi-site health system and experience working within a dyad model. The successful candidate will be recognized for building trust with providers and staff and be seen as a highly engaging, courageous leader who fosters authentic relationships.
