The following is a list of specific responsibilities of the Office of Career Services Program Coordinator:
● Manage communications with all Office constituents including students, faculty, staff, and employers; opening and closing of the office
● Maintain and enhance the Career Services website to ensure accessibility, clarity, and educational value;
● Assist in communication of Career Services activities and manage the program calendar, and social majors;
● Assist in the coordination of the Career Fair and major events;
● Maintain a database of employers for job shadowing, externships, internships, and job placement;
● Utilize and maintain Career Services software systems, such as Handshake;
● Provide on-site supervision of events, oversee facilities use, provide support, and assist in problem resolution;
● Assist with assessment efforts, assemble data, and write and/or edit reports;
● Process requisitions for supplies, personnel action forms, and follow-up with purchase orders, invoices, and deliveries;
● Supervise student workers and manage timesheets;
● Limited travel to relevant conferences, regional events for professional development; and
● Perform related duties as required.

Minimum Qualifications: ● Bachelor's degree in any field ● Demonstrated ability to work independently on multiple projects and regularly exercise sound judgment in addressing program issues ● Demonstrated readiness to acquire knowledge and familiarity with new programs, processes, and technologies ● Ability to efficiently multitask and prioritize workload ● Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills ● Proficient in MS Office, Adobe
Preferred Qualifications:
● Experience working with students and faculty across disciplines ● Experience with data analysis, database design, and program evaluation ● Experience in designing or updating web pages and social media using relevant software
