Xavier University of Louisiana is accepting applications for the position of Advancement Scholarship Specialist. The purpose of the Advancement Scholarship Specialist is to provide internal expertise for business processes during all stages of donor cultivation and stewardship. This individual will support post-gift activities such as gift documentation, fund creation, and post-gift information dissemination among campus and XULA donors.
The Scholarship Specialist will be responsible for monitoring and evaluating annual and endowed scholarship awards and academic programs while striving for continuous improvement. The incumbent will play a significant role in conducting financial stewardship efforts along with promoting the University's mission and collaborate closely with the Executive Director, Offices of Financial Aid, Admissions and Fiscal Services to support the overall stewardship and recognition plan of the Office of Institutional Advancement. Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in accounting, business, communications, marketing, public relations, or a related discipline.
2-3 years of reconciliation and reporting experience preferred.
