Newman is currently seeking aspiring teachers, or educators in their first three years of teaching, to gain practical experience teaching, advising, and coaching at a top independent school as an Upper School Teaching Fellow. For the 2024-2025 school year, we are seeking a talented and student-centered Teaching Fellow in History.  A Teaching Fellow in History will teach 3-4 sections (1-2 preps), serve as a co-advisor to 8 to 12 students, and is expected to contribute to the school life outside the classroom in an extracurricular activity. This full-time position features mentoring by a veteran member of the Newman faculty to assist in lesson planning, instructional strategies, classroom observations, and constructive feedback.
