Graduate Assistant - Facilities and Event Management

Tulane Athletics is seeking qualified candidates for the Facilities and Event Management graduate assistant position. The position is designed for two years of study, with an anticipated start date of August 2023. Tulane graduate assistants are subject to maintain a 3.0 GPA.
(25%) Act as lead Event Manager for all home Volleyball, Men’s Tennis, and Women’s Tennis matches. Assist with the preparation and set up activities for other home intercollegiate athletic events, including but not limited to setting up athletic facilities, monitoring staff, and ordering hospitality for working staff. Oversee gate operations for home football events with the focus on scheduling/assigning student worker game day staff.
(25%) Assist with designing/distributing credentials for Tulane Athletics staff, vendors, media, visiting team staff, etc.
(25%) Oversee and supervise Facility and Event Student Worker program. This entails the hiring, scheduling, training, etc. for all student workers.
(15%) Performs other duties and projects as assigned by the Director for Facilities and Events.
(10%) Help with the set-up, break-down, operation of non-athletic events (meetings, meal, press conferences, etc.)
