Bayou District Foundation (BDF), a New Orleans, LA based 501c3 nonprofit seeks a Golf Course Superintendent for the 36 hole City Park golf facility. City Park golf has been in existence since 1902. Restored and reestablished in 2017, the South Course features 18 holes of championship golf in New Orleans City Park. The pristine South Course was designed by renowned golf course architect Rees Jones and Greg Muirhead of Rees Jones, Inc., in association with Torre Design Consortium. Sitting on over 200 acres, the South Course measures between 5,054 and 7,302 yards. The South Course features multiple tee off locations in order to accommodate players of all skill levels. The new state of the art clubhouse rounds out the alluring design that makes the South Course renovation stand out and complete New Orleans only 36 hole golf complex. First opened in 1969, the North Course originally expanded City park's golf complex to an impressive 72 holes. Unfortunately, 2005 brought Hurricane Katrina and the closure of the North Course. Reopened in 2008, the North Course offers a challenging yet fun round for all levels of golfers. The North Course incorporates four sets of tees ranging in length fr...om 5,740 yards at the tips to 4,300 yards from the Gold Tees. Water comes into play on eight of the eighteen holes, adding to the competitive nature of the course by making club and shot
selection a key factor in the ability to score.
