LCMC Health desires an experienced leader who is passionate about lifelong learning, continuous improvement and organizational development, and organizational change and transformation. Reporting to the Vice President, Talent Development, and working collaboratively with executive leaders, this individual executes the LCMC Health talent and performance management strategies and all talent and performance efforts that support the organization’s growth and strategic goals. These efforts include talent and performance management, talent review and calibration, leader development and retention, and succession planning. This individual will partner with stakeholders throughout the System to assess talent/performance needs and gaps, execute strategic plans, develop and deliver talent and performance management initiatives, and evaluate the effectiveness of talent and performance initiatives. This individual will also directly supervise the work and performance of others. This leader is dedicated to creating an extraordinary experience for people – consumers, patients, employees, and the community - and bringing the LCMC Health brand to life with intention, focus, and consistency. LCMC Health is a nonprofit network of healthcare providers in Southern Louisiana based out of New Orleans. LCMC Health encompassing 9 hospitals with 1800 plus licensed beds, 5 Urgent Care Clinics and multiple Freestanding Emergency departments, and partnering with 2,791 physicians & providers throughout the New Orleans and surrounding areas.
QUALIFICATIONSEducation and Experience:
REQUIRED:
Master’s degree in education, business, human resources, leadership development, industrial psychology, communications, or a related field.
7 years of progressive experience in education, business, human resources, and/or communications experience, preferably in a healthcare/wellness setting
2 years of management/supervisory experience (preferably managing other leaders)
Demonstrated experience working with cross-functional teams, specifically IT, D & I, human resources, marketing/communications, and financial departments to successfully implement initiatives or projects
Project management and/or workflow experience
Ability to analyze and interpret data into meaningful insights that provide decision support for business and Organizational Development strategy implementation.
Preferred:
8+ years of experience in education, business, human resources, and/or communications experience, preferably in a healthcare/wellness setting
Experience designing, developing and supporting organization-wide talent management programs that cover performance management, talent development, coaching, succession planning, data analytics and relationship management.
Experience leading transformational & change management initiatives
Demonstrated experience leading teams and projects in a matrixed and fast-paced environment.
Coaching and consultative experience
Excellent interpersonal, counseling, and negotiation skills.
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Demonstrated training/facilitation skills
Experience with virtual and web-based training platforms
Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization
Strong project – and time-management skills; prioritization skills
Critical thinking and independent problem-solving skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative, team-based environment
Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Suite)
Experience using learning management systems to deploy training and education solutions
Experience using web-based content authoring tools
