Children’s Hospital New Orleans is currently seeking Clinical Pharmacist candidates for expansion of services to General Pediatrics and ED. As a member of the Pharmacy Department, the Clinical Pharmacist will provide pharmacy services to their respective areas. The Clinical Pharmacist will work as part of the multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, appropriate, comprehensive, and cost-effective medication therapy. Job responsibilities include the following: Participate in multidisciplinary rounds with the medical team Review drug therapies and apply appropriate pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic principles to provide optimal drug therapy recommendations Interview and counsel patients and/or families regarding safe and effective medication use
