The PGY-1/2 Health System Pharmacy Administration and Leadership residency concentrates on the development of clinical practice skills and pharmacy leadership. The first year is designed to develop a confident practicing clinician by providing exposure to a clinical environment and training in a variety of pharmacy practice areas. The second year builds upon the resident’s competence in patient-centered care and pharmacy operational services by combining the administrative experience with the Ochsner Administrative Fellow’s program. The mission of the program is to develop and prepare pharmacists to lead, innovate, and execute within a complex health system.

Requirements:
Graduate of an accredited College/School of Pharmacy
Eligible for licensure to practice pharmacy in the state of Louisiana
Licensed in the State of Louisiana by August 1st.
