Assists DCM veterinarians in diagnostic, surgical and preventative procedures and treatments. Observes animals in assigned areas and reports abnormalities, sickness, or injury. Assists with preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care and monitors the condition of assigned animals. Required to participate in afterhours call. Weekend, after hours, and holiday work may be required. Travel between campuses may be required.   May be designated as essential personnel during a storm/natural disaster. If required to work during a closure, employee must provide accurate and current contact information and is responsible for maintaining communication with supervisor.
