Isidore Newman School seeks a talented and dynamic math educator to serve as a long term substitute teacher for multiple sections Algebra 2, Honors Geometry and Precalculus.
Qualified applicants will have a degree in Math or a closely-related field as well as substantial teaching experience at the upper school level. The ideal candidate is one who values strong relationships with their students while maintaining high expectations in the academic program.
Demonstrated expertise in teaching regular and honors students, strong proficiency with technology appropriate to the classroom, and strong desire to be an active member of the school community outside of the classroom are a plus.
Ideal candidates for this position will possess strong cultural competency skills in their design and implementation of curricula as well as their ability to foster respectful and inclusive relations with students, families, and colleagues.
This position is anticipated to last from approximately April 5 to approximately June 5.
