POSITION SUMMARY: The volunteer assistant coach will assist the coaching staff during practice and competition; and will need to attend all practices and games. The volunteer coach will travel with the team to all away matches. This position is strictly a volunteer position, therefore there is no compensation. The position will report to Head Coach; and will assist with all aspects of the women’s beach volleyball program.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Specific job responsibilities include but are not limited to: 1.Player skill development 2.Developing training programs 3.Assist with filming competition and practice 4.Uploading and reviewing film 5.Assist with developing team policies and procedures 6.Ensures that athletes adhere to university, conference, and NCAA rules and regulations.
Strong organizational, management and leadership skills
Proven ability to multi-task effectively
Ability to prioritize assignments and meet deadlines
Proficient computer skills including word processing, spreadsheets and social media
Availability to work flexible work schedule including nights and weekends
Travel with sport teams for away contests
Thorough knowledge of NCAA and American conference rules and regulations

Previous coaching experience in NCAA Division I Intercollegiate Athletics
Collegiate and/or international playing experience
