INTERNATIONAL SERVICES ADMINISTRATOR
LSUHSC New Orleans
Under minimal supervision, incumbent performs highly specialized administrative/regulatory functions within the International Services Office at LSUHSC/NO. The position is a key and essential element in the organization’s ability to incorporate foreign nationals into the overall mission of education, research and public service. Incumbent must interact with foreign students, scholars, residents/fellows, faculty and staff. Work to be performed in an academic environment with continual expectancy of accountability, accuracy and compliance with federal mandates/regulation. Individual characteristics necessary to be successful in the job are: detailed oriented, self-initiative, confidentiality, reliable and dependable attendance habits and above average interpersonal communication skills. Position will require access to SEVIS database, which per regulatory requirements is only available to U.S. Citizens and Permanent Residents upon completion of federally required training.
