Looking for a high energy, excited, creative educational professional to lead a project-based, student-centered learning community. Must be able to coach and challenge since learners will have a high degree of autonomy. Need to have excellent classroom management as the classroom is highly-individualized, with many learning activities taking place simultaneously. The facilitator must also manage a large set of classroom resources, so organizational skills are a must.
Requires good working knowledge and comfort with computer operations and technical information.
Prior teaching experience in science, math, English or Social studies preferable and experience with project-based learning preferred.
Candidate preference for High School licensed core content teacher, or bachelor's degree and willing to complete alternative licensure requirements.
