The LSU School of Medicine of the LSU Health Sciences Center is accepting applications for an academic faculty member to be appointed at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor (non-tenure, clinical track). Incumbent will service as Associate Director of the Center for Healthcare Value and Equity, and will provide analytical capacity to address policy and programmatic questions for Medicaid, including informing policy and program development through application of rigorous research and evaluation methods.
Principal academic appointment will be in the appropriate clinical department of the LSUHSC School of Medicine-New Orleans; if primary department is not the Department of Medicine, Section of Community and Population Medicine, incumbent will have secondary appointment in that Department and the CHVE.
MD, DO, or equivalent
PhD, MPH, MS, or DrPH in public health or economics
5 years’ experience in academic setting managing or conducting Medicaid research and evaluation
2 years’ experience as Assistant Professor or higher academic rank at an accredited School of Medicine, School of Public Health, or School of Public Policy in the United States
